Boost

The Boost feature enriches campaign visibility by leveraging our core system to identify and incorporate active projects through developer fingerprinting. This functionality facilitates swift visualization and addition of newly discovered active repositories during campaign evaluations. Here's how it works:

  • The Boost page showcases all active repositories (i.e., those labeled as "lead," "new lead," or "customer") to which your contributors have committed during the campaign period.
  • This list is refined to exclude repositories already integrated into your campaign.
  • Initiating the Boost process will seamlessly integrate these repositories and their assignable contributors into your campaign, triggering the necessary evaluations.

It's important to note that boosting typically does not affect the activity score within a campaign, as these projects are already factored in by default. Instead, it primarily serves to expand the repository list for further review and project exportation. However, in certain scenarios, boosting may uncover new contributors collaborating with existing developers, so prompting multiple boosting sessions to identify additional active contributors does work sometimes. We are actively exploring this mechanism to delve deeper into contributors and their interconnected network of colleagues.
